Megan & Kevin are from the Boston area and reached out a few weeks before their trip to the PNW to see if I was free to meet up with them in Portland, Oregon for a session at Cannon Beach (one of my absolute favorite spots). Our schedules didn’t align with their time in Oregon, but they did align with their time in Washington so we decided on an alternative plan – Olympic National Park! I had been there once before, so I devised an itinerary of three of my absolute favorite locations in the park. Lake Crescent, Marymere Falls, and La Push Beach. I flew up to Seattle and met up with Meg + Kevin in Port Angeles, WA where we grabbed breakfast + headed out for a day of adventures in Olympic NP. On our road trip to the park, we laughed and chatted like old friends. One of my absolute favorite parts about being a photographer is meeting people who I connect with so well, like these two. The entire day was effortless – we hiked, popped champagne, and had a blast running around in the rain until my camera was too soaked to take any more photos. If you’re looking for a unique engagement or anniversary session, consider doing an adventure session. There’s no time limit and no pressure, – just a day of adventuring in a beautiful location with photos along the way. You get SO much variety and bang for your buck! I’d love to hang out and document your love. My goal in the next few years is to visit + photograph a couple in every national park, so I offer special discounts for sessions in National Parks I haven’t been to yet! Reach out + let’s plan something epic.
Thank you so much Meg + Kevin for bringing me along on your trip! Can’t wait to hang next time I’m in Boston.
