While elopements aren’t for everyone, they are so special for those who just want to spend the day with their love and maybe a few family members + friends. At the end of the day, it’s YOUR day and whether you want to have a huge party on a rooftop or say your vows quietly on the top of a mountain or on a cliff by the water — I’m here for it all.
These two not only showed up with the coolest vintage-looking tandem bike of my dreams, but they also ended up getting in the freezing cold water for some seriously epic photos at the end. I love how adventurous and playful these two are - even after 10 years together and 5 years of marriage, they are still so joyful + in love and I think that's so special.
Luis and Kirsten met at Emmanuel College - she was a freshman and he was a sophomore - and they became inseparable almost immediately. When Kirsten reached out to me to shoot their intimate wedding, she described their relationship as two best friends always laughing together, and once I met them in person I saw firsthand that this couldn't be more true.
I met up with Kirsten and Luis in Seaport the morning of their wedding day where we started our adventures. We spent the morning by the water, popping champagne + laughing our way through their photos. Kirstin was the epitome of boho beauty with her gorgeous lace dress + earthy florals made by the amazing Buds by KRG and Luis definitely couldn't keep his eyes off her! These two are the perfect mix of sweet + spunky and they compliment each other SO well. It's clear that they are best friends and I know their marriage will be so filled with joy!
Kate and Adam were in Boston for a few days to run the Boston Marathon together & I jumped at the chance to shoot with them! These two are the cutest married couple who exude nothing but kindness + love and I felt so inspired after spending the afternoon with them at one of my favorite rooftop spots in the city.
We laughed and danced and talked about life - definitely a session for the books. When I look back on these photos, all I see is pure happiness & laughter between two souls who were absolutely meant to be together. Not pictured: their insanely adorable Minnesota accents!
Kate and Adam, I wish you all the happiness in the whole world and I cannot wait for our paths to cross again someday!
