Luis and Kirsten met at Emmanuel College - she was a freshman and he was a sophomore - and they became inseparable almost immediately. When Kirsten reached out to me to shoot their intimate wedding, she described their relationship as two best friends always laughing together, and once I met them in person I saw firsthand that this couldn't be more true.
I met up with Kirsten and Luis in Seaport the morning of their wedding day where we started our adventures. We spent the morning by the water, popping champagne + laughing our way through their photos. Kirstin was the epitome of boho beauty with her gorgeous lace dress + earthy florals made by the amazing Buds by KRG and Luis definitely couldn't keep his eyes off her! These two are the perfect mix of sweet + spunky and they compliment each other SO well. It's clear that they are best friends and I know their marriage will be so filled with joy!
We made our way downtown for some rooftop hangs and I knew Kirsten and Luis were my kinda people when we stopped at Roxy's Grilled Cheese for a snack break. The photos of them eating grilled cheese in their wedding clothes are some of my favorites ever! At the end of the day, your wedding is all about YOU and they spent their day in a way that perfectly reflected their relationship and love for each other.
Finally we headed to City Hall after an incredible morning to get these two married! With their whole family in the room cheering them on, Kirstin and Luis said I do in the most perfect intimate ceremony. I have to admit - I started tearing up as they were saying their vows! As a wedding photographer, my couples invite me into one of the most important and monumental moments of their lives and it always makes me so emotional.
Kirsten and Luis, I couldn't be more thankful to have been a part of your wedding day. Spending the day with you two and capturing your love felt like hanging out with two old friends and I am over the moon happy and excited for your adventures as newlyweds to begin!
