We started the afternoon off dancing around in the kitchen and finished with a moped ride around the neighborhood. I adore their unique decor style and the way they've turned their house into a home, even though they spend most of the year on the road.
Luke + Lavenda met in the parking lot after church and have been together ever since. As an East Coast gal visiting the PNW for the first time, I was SO stoked to shoot on the Oregon Coast + luckily these two were down for anything! We met in Portland and drove out to Cannon Beach together for the most perfect golden hour shoot.
Julianne is a talented photographer (check her out!!) and Avi is in a band, so these two are quite the creative team. They met at a bar and the rest is history. They were such a dream to meet and hang out with for this snowy morning session!
We all totally forgot about daylight savings time and planned to meet up at 9 AM (which really felt like 8AM) so I think it's safe to say we were all a little exhausted but it was all totally worth it for the magic we created together! We met up at Larz Anderson Park in Brookline MA and it was instantly clear to me that their love is INFECTIOUS. They laughed, danced, and ran around like two kids in love all morning.
Thank you Julianne + Avi for being adventurous, frolicking in the snow, and letting me share in these joyful moments with you - until next time!
I seriously had SO much fun hangin out & capturing the love these adorable high school sweethearts have for each other! One thing that I always notice when I go back through and edit photos from a session is the way couples look at each other. You might miss it in person, but looking back it's impossible not to see it in a photo. Seriously, just looking at the way Jim looks at Haley in these photos makes me emotional (I'm the biggest sap ever - not sorry).
I love the genuine, sweet, and spontaneous love Haley & Jim share, and I was so honored to photograph them.
