If you really want to get to know your wedding photographer, hop in the car with them for a 3 hour road trip to your engagement session! I was lucky enough to spend a full day adventuring with Erica + Nick, one of my 2019 wedding couples and it was an incredible day. We got out of the city for the day and headed up to Mt. Washington in NH for their engagement session. This place is such a gem in the East Coast! The whole time we were driving up the mountain I felt like we were in New Zealand.

It was way colder than we expected at the top with the elevation, but these two rocked it + were so easy going and up for anything! Their sweet little dog Muffy came along for the ride and may have stolen the show with her cuteness. After the shoot, we got the most amazing BBQ + fries on our way back to Boston and talked about life. This was such an amazing day and I can’t even wait for their September wedding in New England! So lucky to be able to adventure with my sweet couples — I love being able to turn an engagement shoot into an experience.
