Lilly and Aaron wanted to photograph their engagement session in their Pacific Heights apartment so their sweet pup Rooney could be a part of it – and so that they would be able to look back on this time in their lives, living in San Francisco before getting married next year. They wanted the photos to feel nostalgic and timeless, so a majority of the session was shot on 35mm film. The afternoon felt like capturing a day in the life, starting with glasses of red in their beautiful apartment followed by a walk through the neighborhood, a sunset at the beach, and dinner a few blocks away at Rose’s Cafe in Cow Hollow. I love a San Francisco engagement sesh – beyond honored to have captured these for L&A.
