When Chelsey + Nate asked me to join them in Italy for their intimate elopement, I was SO excited. I had a blast hanging with these two for their engagement session on the East Coast and I knew it would be amazing traveling with them on the Amalfi Coast in Italy for their wedding day. They chose to get married at the Palazzo Avino in Ravello, Italy which was a stunning hotel! Even though it rained and stormed their whole wedding day, they were the most calm + go-with-the-flow kind of couple I’ve probably ever worked with. A little rain couldn’t ruin their day! Luckily the day after the wedding was absolutely beautiful so we took most of their bridal photos then and I’m so glad we did! We explored the charming town of Ravello and the beautiful Villa Cimbrone gardens. I just love that these two did things their own way. A big wedding isn’t for everyone — so if you’re feeling overwhelmed, a destination elopement might be perfect for you! Having the chance to travel to Italy to capture this day was incredible and I can’t thank these two enough for inviting me along!
